    This morning's Independent reports a 'revolt' by Liberal Democrat 'grassroots' over the potential outcome of the coming Comprehensive Spending Review: see for further details. For once, the Indy's reporting is not far off the mark, at least if the word 'potential' is added somewhere. As might be expected, the article makes several statements about what the Party's positioning at the 2015 General Election might be, without pointing out that the party is democratic and such decisions will be taken by the Federal Policy Committee and Conference. Either the journalist Grice and/or his source are particularly ignorant on this point. ...
